MIT Campus: A Rainy-Day Romance
The MIT campus is not just a collection of buildings, but a significant backdrop for a love story. We didn't let the rainy weather deter us, capturing the essence of their time here. The pavement gleamed with a beautiful sheen, reflecting the surrounding trees and buildings, making the scene feel like a painting. This classic campus atmosphere became even more intimate and romantic in the rain.
Next, we headed to Killian Court, one of the most iconic spaces at MIT. The grandeur of the dome provided a magnificent backdrop, and thanks to the couple’s deep understanding of architecture, we were able to capture countless photos highlighting perfect symmetry and beautiful lines. The highlight of the day was capturing a beautiful moment as they took shelter from the rain between the solid pillars of the building at 77 Mass Avenue.
Combining MIT and Beacon Hill for a Classic Boston Look
Many couples love combining MIT’s architecture with the romantic streets of Beacon Hill. In this session, we started at MIT for structured, modern portraits and ended in Beacon Hill for softer, European-style cobblestone charm. This combination creates variety in your gallery while keeping everything within a short driving distance.
We made sure not to miss the small details, like old wooden doors and quaint windows, that are found throughout the neighborhood. The bride's design background made these small elements particularly special to them, helping us create even more evocative photos.
Boston Public Garden: Nature's Beauty in the City
To complete our journey, we visited the Boston Public Garden, a peaceful natural oasis in the heart of the city. After the rain, the vibrant greenery was more beautiful than ever. The elegant Swan Boat pond, lush green lawns, and beautiful trees provided a stunning backdrop for their final photos.
Every moment, from walking across the bridge to simply sitting on a bench, was filled with love. The clean, refreshed scenery after the rain made the atmosphere even more romantic, and the sight of them looking at each other with bright smiles seemed to reflect the love that shines through no matter the weather.
